WHAT İS INTERNET İNSECURİTY ?

The Boston University College of Arts & Sciences (CAS) computer science professor and department chair Crovella claim that the internet has become critical to our society and the Internet as "working on a living patient". Crovella also notes that the internet brings with it sensitivities affecting every aspect of our lives until our national security, our bodies, our bank accounts.Furthermore, now people can pay bills over the internet, even physicians can set pacemakers wirelessly but despite these conveniences, the internet also has some challenging sides, for example infrastructure systems of countries can be exposed to cyber attack.According to Crovella, The most striking example is in 2014, hackers have access to the accounts of JPMorgan Chase's 83 million customers.

The CAS computer science professor and director of the BU Center for Reliable Information Systems & Cyber Security Ran Canetti indicate that this is a very significant issue for people all over the world and he say that the internet is like a atomic bomb.He states with these words '' The internet is like the atomic bomb—all of a sudden, the human race has the power to destroy the planet.To find solutions to these problems, the CAS computer science department collaborates with colleagues in the University to integrate into some scientific fields and they research on the subject or performs brain storming. I agree with this idea because  an unlimited internet can cause problems for people in the years to come, confidential information of the person can come out and the privacy principle will disappear and it will deviate from internet purpose

WHAT İS İNTERNET İNSECURİTY ?

According to A Research firm Gartner, in the last two years, the number of internet gadget increased  approximately 70 percent to 6.4 billion in the world and this company claims that in 2020 there will be 20. 8 million internet devices.Steve Lohr states that there are 2 main perspectives  about internet security/ınsecurity.

1) The optimistic outlook 

2) The pessimistic outlook

The first perspective is Internet, people and physical systems to make them more efficient interms of health, food production, energy consumption and transportation.

The second perspective is about hackers.Consumer who add security gadget to their phones and computers expect to adopt similar protection with internet-connected home appliances.A program manager and computer security expert at the Pentagon’s advanced research arm Michael Walker states that we need to find a way to make the internet more reliable because ıf internet is not reliable, people can not trust it and internet loses credibility. To find a way to make the internet more reliable because ıf internet is not reliable, people can not trust it and internet loses credibility.I believe that internet becomes a basic necessity for people day by day because internet has a lots of advantages.For example, people can work on the internet, do homework or spend nice time and save the their information.Another perspective may be real and hackers can hack to my account or my social media.Therefore, people should take precautions because hackers can steal their information.
